Did you hear? We've selected to be a finalist in the AIGA 100 design show in Salt Lake City later this month. Additionally, we've been presented a Silver award and an honorable mention by the International Design Awards in Burbank, California.
AIGA, the professional association for design, is a national organization focused on stimulating thinking about design through conferences, competitions, exhibitions, publications and websites. The association is broken into chapters, each with their own unique features and competitions. Every year the Salt Lake City chapter holds a 100 show, honoring and highlighting the year’s best design, advertising and digital media. Advent Creative, a selectee of Utah Business Magazine’s top 25 Ad Agencies, is being featured for the design of an annual report for a renewable energy company located in the eastern United States. Advent’s President and Creative Director, Adam Smith, said, “When your designers love what they do and find a client they truly believe in—well, that’s the recipe for brilliant results.”
We're also being awarded on a more global stage by the International Design Awards, an event organized for graphic designers and design fans from around the world to celebrate the best of design theory and practice. The award-winning piece, which competed among brands like Nike and Nabisco, was a packaging model designed for Malouf Fine Linens, a local Cache Valley company. ”We regularly hear our product has the best packaging in the country and that superior presentation directly translates to increased sales,” said owner Sam Malouf.
Our CEO, Wade Olsen, is glad to be receiving national and international praise for the company’s hard work. “ We have a very talented team working hard on these projects and its great to see them recognized for it, “ said Olsen. “These awards represent just a few of the hundreds of excellent pieces of work that we’ve created and I’m excited to be a part it,” added Olsen.
