On Tuesday, @sethjenks and I started training the Ogden Standard-Examiner on social media use. The Standard is one of the bigger papers in Utah and certainly the most progressive. They have been quick to adapt to new technology and have incorporated video onto their website in a way that few, if any, papers in the U.S. have done. As you can imagine, it’s exciting to be working with them on developing a social media presence.
The Standard-Examiner is an example of how papers can survive in a digital age. I’ve been keeping a directory of all the journalists, editors, photographers and designers from the Standard who are now rocking it on Twitter. Enjoy:
