National Recognition

Last week one of our clients made an appearance on national TV! Kris and Kim from The DIY Dish were challenged by Nate Berkus, former host of Oprah’s Big Give, to decorate a room on a limited budget. Watch a clip from the episode:

Just over a year ago, Kris and Kim—founders of the already successful YouCanMakeThis.com and SWAKembroidery.com—approached us. They shared their vision of theDIYdish.com, a site featuring the sisters demonstrating do-it-yourself home projects.

Although the existing sites commanded a substantial following, there was something missing. Their followers were being deprived of the twins’ energetic interaction. Sure, their personalities came through in writing and photos, but the audience needed to witness their bubbly chemistry in a way only video could portray. These broadcasts would provide a visual tutorial to those preferring hands-on instruction.

After arriving at the idea we conceptualized, designed, and developed a brand for The DIY Dish–including website and logo. We shot, directed, and edited all 11 webisodes of the first season and are currently in the middle of season two. We look forward to the opportunities ahead for The DIY Dish.
